Tsunamis

Tsunamis can threaten cities, and sometimes entire countries, with massive destruction. For a country like Japan, tsunamis are a devastating and frequent threat to many parts of the nation. On a planet-wide scale, any coastal region that experiences an earthquake is subject to a potential tsunami threat.
